Putting Outside

I harden mine off at 3 weeks,then out to the grow out coop where they will stay for another 3 weeks,then into the big coop permanently.There is 7 of them out there right now going on their 4th week.

I love this! I want to pull my hair out when I hear of people heating their chicken coops for a 30 degree weather!

I put my chickens outside as soon as possible. The faster I harden them, means the quicker they feather means the faster they're out of my dining room! In fact it's 64 degrees today and they're all outside right now. (they'll be 3 weeks on Monday)
 
my chicks are 4 weeks today, and they're leaving the brooder today... my room gets cold at night, and for the last week, they haven't had a heat lamp... so they're ready... i always take my chicks out at 4 weeks...
