Putting quail outside?

I have 2 week old quail and was wondering if they can go outside with a heat lamp? We live in Florida where the temperature for another month will be in the 80°- 90° I have an on the ground cage with 1/2 inch mesh wire on two sides, top and bottom with one side the door and the other a large nesting box. The cage is 5ft by 3ft. I figured they are still to small but I wanted to know for sure. I can post pics of the cage in about an hour or two.

I also forgot to mention If they can go outside I would be covering up the sides along with filling the bottom with pine shavings.

You should be fine just make sure they have lots of shade or else they might overheat also provide ice cubes in the waterer please ask me any questions if you need any help

Thank you! I have a bigger waterer I could use outside for them. Could I use this one if I put pebble in it so they don't drown?

yes that would work perfectly how long are you planning to put the quail outside

that is fine but make sure you leave a small patch open for the quail to scratch around in they would love that they also like taking dust baths.

that is fine can you post a pic of your quail in their outdoor cage i really want to see your quail
