Putting quail outside?

They're about 7-8 weeks old. Been in the unheated garage for about 2 weeks now. The thing is, the garage is not that cold - maybe 50, even 60 degrees? But outside it's 30-40's during the day, and down into lower 20's at night. I worry about them being cold and stressed. Finally got my first eggs today! Want them to keep laying.

May you can try to acclimate them by leaving the garage door open a crack to help lower the temp a bit more to what it is outside a few days at a time?
