Putting the chickens out overnight first time

I went out this morning and opened the door and unplugged the lamp and set the food and drink back outside.

When I went back inside I watched from the sliding door and they started waking up and coming out. It was kind of cute the way they start flapping their wings and stretching.

If I am not wrong at 3 weeks the temperature for them should be around 80 degrees.

I put my 3 weekers out with a heat lamp.I plug it in late afternoon as it starts to cool down.They are so much happier out in the run than they were in the brooder inside! Everyone is doing great.I will never get chicks in the fall again[like my previous batch].The chicks are so much happier outside.But they do need a heat lamp.
