Is Mt Healthy the hatchery that has had salmonella issues? I know that probably doesn't have anything to do with your issues. So sorry about your chickens.

Yes, it is. Did a bunch of reading this afternoon. Outbreaks in 2014,2013 and 2011 traced back to that specific hatchery.
@coop-er, how is your pullet doing?
Sadly she was too ill and had to be put down, she was unable to walk- paralysis maybe. I am now quite concerned about my 2 remaining birds from there. This is very frustrating. I hate to see them get sick one by one like that. All of my other birds seem fine. Just the Mt Healty birds are sick. I always get my birds from Meyer Hatchery except for these 5 and have never had a problem. They are a 2 hour drive from my house but that is where my replacement birds will come from. I am calling Mt Healthy on Monday to ask some questions. Thank you all for the info and for checking in.
I'm so sorry. Please keep us updated on what Mt Healthy has to say.
I called Mt Healthy this morning and they said their chicks are only vaccinated if requested. My chicks were purchased from a feed store who got them from Mt Healthy....I called the feed store and they DO NOT order vaccinated chicks. This is a lesson about being extra careful about what you bring into your coop. I believe these infected chicks also spread Mareks to my wonderful Silkie rooster. He became ill and had to be put down as well. Buyer beware.
