Puzzling growth of my BCMs

I bought some eggs online the seller said they were French Black Copper Marans with Greenfire lineage and feathered feet. They certainly do look like BCMs but not all have feathered feet. I think 2 out of the 7 that hatched don’t.

anyway, the real problem is they all hatched within a day or two of each other and growing fine besides one. It hasn’t grown at all. Its still very tiny. Does anyone know why?

They are going on about 5 weeks now

It's probably just the hatchery not having the best stock, I've gotten chicks that don't really have feather feet when they were supposed to. regarding your small chick, make sure it dosen't have droppings stuck on it's rear end, that can stunt it's growth. If it seems healthy, it could just be a runt, I've hatched one like that before, and I know someone else who has. If that's the case, it might not be the healthiest chicken when it gets older though.

Thank you, ill check its butt and keep a better eye on it. Is your runt still alive or did you cull?
