It was hard to find where to post this so everyone will see 
I was lazy and bought the 2 inch wide, 2 foot pipe and the Y connecter, for now.
I found out that the bottom will mold if you leave it in the rain with only tin foil and a rubber band holding it top and bottom. They didn't have any caps for 2 inch.
Yeah, The chicks came unexpectedly and I had to hurry. They liked to peck at the tin foil BTW.
****** I found out that a Yogurt cup, upside down, fits in the bottom of the 2 inch Y part very nicely ! I glued mine but the pipe in the top is not glued so I can always still clean it out. *******
I will be making a few more for the big coop, but thought that others might want a trick to closing off the bottom.
