I was telling my brother about my plans to use pvc piping to make an egg turner for our new incubator and he mentioned that pvc pipe is known for giving off synthetic estrogen.
I'm wondering if this affects the chicks? Mostly it's just interest...we were thinking of possibilities...'girly' roos or even hatching more hens than roos.
Anyone have any thoughts? Seems like an interesting concept even if it is bunk.
