PVC run....what to use for cover/roof?

We have cats, hawks so having it covered is a must!!

Wanna place for my chicks to play during the day...... Just trying to figure out an inexpensive but secure way to protect them from above.

Suggestions?

I covered the top of our pvc run with chicken wire. We have lots of hawks and owls and this has worked well. You can either zip tie it to the pvc or use wire to attach it. Pic of my pvc run on my byc page. Oh--yes the hawks are always by every day to see if kfc is open!
