Have finally got around to taking some pictures of our new silkie hens! I call it the QT flock because we named the roosters after Tarantino film characters........
Jules and Vincent were our first two cockerels but Jules got taken by a hawk, so only Vincent is left.
The names of Marcellus Wallace and Django are being reserved for when I get two more of other breeds, but they are a long way away. Anyhow to kick of my thread of the new ladies here are some pics of them and a picture of Vincent..... (we were told he is a cockerel when we picked them up but we are not convinced but also we are rookies and wouldn't know anyway so if anyone wants to take a guess!)
(also I'm not precious if anyone sees any glaring errors of my chicken keeping abilities let me know!)
This was Jules. Miss you buddy. Sorry you were the guy who made me realise my whole run needed to be netted.
His Brother....... Vincent. Is it still too young to tell if he is a he or not?
