QTDDTOT - Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Does this red spot on his toe look like anything to be concerned about? His feet are only wet because I had to rinse them off, their coop and run are completely dry and I sweep up droppings daily.

It'd probably heal on its own, but if it were mine I'd probably slather with Neosporin for a few days anyway, and a tiny finger bandaid to wrap his toe if he'll tolerate it.

What are these weird things that show up in place of pictures? How do I get rid of them?

Is black light dangerous?
UV light can be dangerous, but I doubt a black light would be dangerous, because they aren't very powerful, and they have an average wavelength of 365 nanometers. They usually have a filter to filter out any light below 320 nanometers, because it can damage biomolecules below that wavelength.

Since that's an older thread you're looking at, maybe the image(s) were deleted at some point?
That's usually when an image that is hotlinked from another site using the IMG bbcode, and then that image is later deleted. That's why we recommend uploading images as attachments, instead of hotlinking them from other sites.

This morning I noticed that my hen's crop had not gone completely flat overnight. Yesterday they got a couple leftover ears of corn and fruit and she really overindulged, did she just eat too much and the food didn't have enough time to completely finish being broken down while she slept? I suppose I will know soon enough. I don't think it's impacted. She's getting water down just fine, and the lump isn't abnormally firm.
