Quail and Hot weather

I have been giving my coturnix ice cold cucumber halves in this hot streak. They now see me coming and are right by the door waiting for their treat! Lots of liquid and a cold drink. Any other ideas?

Cold peas!! Peas are like "quail crack"! You can also mist them down with water if it gets really hot.

Make sure they have plenty of 'dust' in their dust pans. Dusting keeps them cool. You can use sand, ashes, dirt, pretty much anything that is 'dusty'.

Mine have rabbit water bottles on the front of their cage...they often use it like a shower
