Of all my splashes I have only had 2 cockerals. It will be interesting what this one is.

8 chicks now and 5 more pips! 4 of the chicks are from MissPrissy's eggs with one of the pips from her eggs too. I know one of the new chicks is splash and the other is either blue or splash- I'm leaning towards splash. This is just what I wanted! Now if they are all pullets, THAT would be something!

I will for sure! I am brooding them with the chicks I hatched earlier this week but I've been painting their toenails so I can tell them apart. Then again, once I was finished doing that I realized that the newly hatched ones don't have feathers on their wings yet.

Oh well, as they get older it will help. I will wait until the hatch is done and get a group shot with the chicks hatched from MissPrissy's birds.
