I think this hatch is winding down now. I will leave these eggs in there until tomorrow just to be sure. I hatched 5/9 from MissPrissy's eggs and 9/12 from my own. That makes 14/23 total. (If you include the hatch from my Hovabator 1588, I'm 24/35 this week.) It may not be the best hatch rate ever but remember that these eggs went through 2 different 4 hour power outages- the second when I was not home for most of it to cover the bators or start the generator. These are amazing results when compared to the previous hatches I've had of less than 6 no matter how many I put in- most of the time I only had one or two hatch in any given hatch- and I've always had defects in my previous hatches. No defects at all in these. I think I've found what works for me. If not perfect, I think I'm on the right track.
I have silkie eggs that I'm hatching for Bammony that came from BamaChicken coming off the turning racks today in addition to some more project eggs from my own birds. Looks like I'll be having some more sleepless nights.
