@ school now, i'll send pics of my setup later, two pens approx. 6x12' x6.5' high, i can comfortably fit 50-100 birds in there, plus doves

I had a metal dog pen 5' x 10' x 6' tall and I lined the inside and across the top with .5" chicken wire, using zip ties to connect it. I currently only have 8 quail in there but my second hatch of 48 eggs just went into lockdown this morning so its about to get a lot more crowded in there in a month or so.

I since took the dog house out and built a small coop which they completely ignore except to go under it.
