QUAIL BABIES arriving tomorrow!!!!!!! WHAT to feed!

hello, I can read, and read, and read.....makes my head spin!
WHAT is BEST to feed day old button quail!????

Game feed?
Turkey feed?

(I know it must be ground up.....non medicated.....)

and as for water.....do I use the rodent waterer? or a chick waterer with the marbles?

(I have raised chicks no prob....but now quial...I am worried! SO tiny!!!!!)

I use a jar lid with glass stones
Mine always eat and drink like mad

Ours eat and drink within an hour or so after they hatch. We put a jar lid with marbles in it and sprinkle a little fine ground Game Bird Starter in the hatching bator. I've seen them eating and drinking before they were totally dry...

I agree with David, I've had just hatched chicks pecking at stuff in the incubator. I think they *CAN* go a day without feed if forced to, but I wouldnt reccomend it. They're normally pretty curious and hungry soon after hatching and after eating ofcourse need to drinkie
