I just woke up and I heard a chick has hatched in the incubator it's hard too see through theres only vent holes but he looks slightly wet can I leave him in there untill 4 as I have to leave for work or can I take him out now and place him in the brooder
Thanks

Mate if i was you i would take him with me and continuously blow warm air on him from my mouth as he already spent the night.. Or put him in a brooder or something.. The incubator's humidity may make the drying process slower..

First of all, I admire you're diligence on raising quails. I really find it difficult to raise them. I guess I cont have the capability to do so.

It's fine left in the incubator. It's chirping will entice the others to want to hatch too. :frow

I always wait 24 hours after the first one hatches before I open my incubator and gather the chicks, so he'll be fine in there while you're at work. They should be fine in there for 48 hours to be honest...
