Quail, bantams, guinea types

Any recommendations on what breeds to choose and where to get them from? We are planning to get 3 guineas (2 females and one male), about 30 bantams (rare and some not rare breeds/maybe 2 roosters at most), and around 10 quail. Thanks!

For bantams I totally recommend bantam Cochins. They aren’t rare but they are the sweetest little fluff nuggets on the planet.

Yeah but won’t I get a bunch of roosters? When you bought from the did you get a lot of roosters?

I’ve never ordered that specific assortment. I’ve only ordered sexed birds from Cackle, I don’t have the space currently to do a bundle. I want to in the future though. But yes, you would probably expect ~50% males.

Here are all their bantam chicks. They only offer some sexed (Crele OEGB, Dominique bantam, Barred Bantam Cochin, and others) because bantams are hard to sex.

I still haven’t actually received the birds. I know @The Moonshiner has some experience with Cackle.
