Quail Breed and Gender

Does anybody know what breed and gender these two quail are?

Coturnix. Can't sex from pictures but adult Coturnix are easy to sex. Check their vents. Males will have a big swollen spot between their tail and vent "breeding purposes". Females will not.

 

[Quail chick]

They are coturnix quail. Look to be Italian variety. They can be feather sexed. The one that is showing the breast is definitely a male. Hard to be sure on the other but my guess is female, female tend to have black head markings. If the chest has black or dark speckels then it's female.
