If they aren't the same age that 2 week old will be murdered straight away. I started with 10 hens and 7 roos. The girls and boys each have a 6 sqft cage. There is zero aggression in the girl's salon. In the bachelor pad I have 3, 2 more are together in sick bay, and 2 more are in isolation cages due to aggression, and i mean baaad aggression. Every time I've tried to reintroduce them they attack the closest roo in under 1 second no joke. I will cull 5 males the weekend after next at 7 1/2 weeks if i can wait that long. The 10 hens and two males left will go into an 8'x16' aviary next week. It is split down the center boys by themselves and girls by themselves but they can see each other. After some time when the boys are no longer teens I'll let them mingle and they will share the whole thing via pop doors until I need a grow out pen. In short, do it right and watch for aggressors and you can house quite a few males together. It works better if they can't see or hear the girls though.
