Hello everybody!

I'm working on the Other Poultry Breeds database project and was wondering if you could help us out. I personally know pretty much nothing about quail, but I need to make a list of the breeds that we need pages for. So what ARE some quail breeds? I've got Coturnix, Bobwhite, and Button - but I think there are more?

Can anybody help us out?

Thank you!

So Far As I Know Many Many Speces Of Quail Are Kept Throughout The World By Avicultural Hobbyists, They Are Also 1 Of Most Popular Farm Raised Gamebirds Worldwide For Food Or Conservation. There Are Many Many Speces Around The World... I Just Hit The More Common Ones, In All There Are About 2 Dozen Different Speces In The Hobby Throughout The World, Some Are Quite Common And Easily Cared For , Others Extremely Rare Or Endangered And God-awful Expensive And Severely Difficult To Keep So They Run The Full Gambit

You missed Japanese (Coturnix) quail, and Bobwhites..
Well, buttons....never pan fried one, but that species deserves a mention.
