Quail brooder help please

Hi all
Am in the middle of making a brooder for young quails , I have a heat plate for them but my question is do they still need a low watt bulb in there for light ?
Or are they ok with natural light

Natural light should be plenty (like outside or in a room with windows)—having a day/night cycle is better for their heads than constant light, anyway.
