Quail can't walk anymore!

Please help. One of my female coturnix quail cam no longer walk. She is in a hardware cloth cage. Her feet can no longer keep her up. she pushes her body with her legs. her stomach drags the floor of the cage. Poor thing. I don't know what to do for her.

It sounds like she might have flown up and hit the top of the cage and injured her neck ,or spine . If she was sick enough to get in that shape she would die pretty quickly . I had something get wrong with my chukkars ,and each day one would appear droopy ,the next day it would die .It went on till all 16 of them died . The county agent couldn't figure it out .These were all full grown perfectly healthy birds .Until ----

What are you feeding them. Mine did this and I later learned that I needed to feed them 20% protein (game bird feed)
