One of my ten chicks, now 5 days old, is getting his wing feathers shreaded. I don’t know if this is normal growth or if there’s a problem. I see other chicks pecking at his wings. It’s not constant, but they definitely seem to be singling him out. Is this normal or should I do something about it?

All normal, no need of interfer.
Sometimes some chicks are a bit more curious and rough. Looks frightening, but no worries.
Thanks. I messaged the woman who sold me the eggs and she said pretty much the same thing. Those first feathers on the wing tips sure make them look scruffy.

Update: everyone is looking equally ratty, but it's clearly because of those first feathers on the wing tips. The one I was concerned with is bouncing off the walls with the rest of the covey, eating plenty, and doesn't appear stressed at all.
