One of my newborns can’t seem to get his legs under him for long. He keeps flipping onto his back and trying to lie that way in the brooder. This does not seem healthy. anyone know what’s wrong?

That is often a sign of wry neck. It can show different symptoms from just a crooked neck, to neurological issues, flipping backwards is one of the signs.

Yeah, I read other threads and I think it’s called stargazing. I gave it some B vitamins, and put electrolyute and vitamins solution in the water. Held it in hand for a few hours to keep it calm. We’ll see if the vitamins do enough to bring it back.

I've heard that vitamins and such can help wry neck in chicken chicks, but I've never had it work for quail. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
