Quail chick not growing?

It died the next day. Poor thing, but at least it isn’t suffering. My toddler hasn’t seemed to notice so that’s a plus.

Unfortunately, that's why they have so many chicks in the wild. They have a high mortality rate. But it's still very sad.

The rest are fantastic. Very strong and active and I cannot believe how much food they eat! Thank you for asking!
