quail chicks dying

I had 7 bobwhite quail chicks and one died, others sick, tired, diarrhea, chilled. I suspect from contaminated water, it stunk pretty bad. It could also be from some plants they ate. I moved them and gave them water with white vinegar and put garlic in their feed. What else should I do?
