Quail Chicks Outside

Hi everyone,
I have 15 quail chicks that are two weeks old and in my house. They have grown very fast and are beginning to outgrow their brooder. I was just wondering if it would be possible at this age to bring them to their hutch outside with a supplemental brooder plate. I live in LA and this week the lowest temp is going to be 50 degrees.

I would wait another week and use a heat lamp rather than the brooder plate.

They will be fine. Make sure the area you plan to put them in is free of drafts, rain and wind. Chicks will feather out faster when outside.
