Today is the first day she has laid an egg!
2 eggs!!

Aren't quail known for taking other quails eggs if they are in a broody mood ? Even buttons along with coturnix

I have a few broodies who gather everyone’s eggs, they also get up to go eat and see an egg on the way and start sitting on it and forget the old ones.

Sadly, I'm away from my babies (my quail they are my life lol) until Wednesday I am babysitting at a friends, but they have somebody there giving them new food and water

Ehhh..... Not exactly how that works. Just because they mated, doesn't mean you will always get fertile eggs the next day.

Are they sitting on the eggs? If not.. then they most likely just like it or tired!
