Making a 8x8 ft cube for my quail, wood siding back, + 2 greenhouse panels to let in light but keep out rain to keep the back dry. Heavy duty tarp roof. Here’s my planning sheet! Budget is 800, hoping to stay under that. Ignore the triangle stuff, had to ditch that design due to my own lack of building experience.

Love the design!! We also started with a triangular design and ditched it because who wants to do geometry homework at my age??

My math teacher would be so proud - I calculated the side lengths, surface area, and length of hc I’d need. I feel that though!

6' high is plenty.

I've never had a quail hit the top of my aviary (around 7') but I've had a few hit the walls.
