Hello everyone, I’m on day 4 of incubation and I decided to candle an egg see how we were doing and I want your opinions on wether there developing well?

In the photo the dark part has gone orange for some reason. Let me know!!

The image is not entirely clear, however, The orange color you're observing may very well be an indication of normal growth based on your description. As the embryo starts to grow on day 4, it's normal for blood vessels to start spreading out. This transition from a black patch to an orange tinge might be a sign that circulation is starting to take over.Continue to candle often over the following several days to check for a distinct network of blood vessels and, finally, a pulse, as each egg develops at its speed. It's typically a positive indicator if the vascularization pattern appears to be ordered rather than dispersed.Continue your fantastic job and update us on developments!

Will do, I cannot see any blood vessels as of yet but I will probably update here on Thursday which is day 7 so should be able to see some further development, I candled several and most looked like this I only had one (from the few I candled) that you could still see the yolk… which means mister male quail is doing his job nicely :wee

Yeah sorry about the bad picture it’s so hard in a dark room I couldn’t find the button !! Typical me 😂

Il keep you updated

Kind regards, 6-hens-and-me.

@FowlProtector this is the 7 day update. Out of 54 eggs 46 are viable on most eggs you cannot see any veining but you can see a very dark patch which shows up as orange on camera
