Quail disposition

My first batch of jumbos from JJ are really tame because I messed with them a lot as babies, talked to them, hand fed them.. The second batch was untameable (whites, dunno if that had anything to do with it) and I sold them. The third batch (jumbos)are in my kitchen healing from wing pinioning, but they are still fairly freindly. The fourth batch is still in the bator, but I intend to make pets out of them as well. they are my second clutch from JJ. The ones that are laying are my first batch right now and they are still very sociable, they love to come see me when I go get the eggs.

All 4 colors of my coturnix are tame. And I don't try to tame them at all. Hungarian Partridge are really tame birds too.

The ones I have had were a little more skittish as babies but ended up being very calm adults.

Coturnix are relatively handleable and calmer than any other speces=== the rest are crazy lil spaz cases.
