Quail dust baths

how old do they need to be? And can I use the chinchilla dust bath stuff?

They can start dust bathing from day one. As long as this dust you talk about is not too dusty or powdery (could harm the respiratory system) and it is not harmful or toxic, it should be fine. You can also use sand, parakeet grit or even dirt from outside.

Great thank you for the info. I have two that will be 3 weeks old tomorrow, just noticed they have been fluffing the pine shavings around a lot this evening.
