Quail egg at least 2 days overdue...?

I had 39 Coturnix eggs in my incubator. They usually hatch at 17-18 days. This time mine hatched at day 23, even with perfect temperature/humidity the entire time. It's crazy, but I'm glad I waited before I did my "eggtopsies", lol.

Yes, a few that didn't make it had quitter embryos in them. And the eggs my cats recently broke had embryos in them.
