Quail Egg Colors

Some one on facebook is trying to sell bright yellow and blue quail eggs. I know that some have light blue shells, but I was wondering if they could be real?

Oh man, I stumbled upon some celedon quail (blue) hatching eggs the other day!? I wanted to get them and hatch them out, and I don't even raise quail! (Yet haha)

Celedon (blue) quail eggs are real. Depending on the breed, they may lay yellowish eggs as well- though these are usually heavily speckled.

As far as I am aware, the only coturnix egg colors are speckled and blue

Blue...yes! Bright yellow....No!

I have found that people photoshop egg and flower colors for ebay egg and seed listings. If it looks too good to be true, yeah, it is.

Celadon eggs are a solid light aqua/blue color. Never seen anything besides those and the tan with brown speckles/splotches come from coturnix quail.
