I have a pair and they work great! Very simple to use and clean.

What are they used for? Why would you want to cut the shell unless you were making art out of them..I would use a dremel myself..

I have gotten good at using one of those serrated steak knives you get 6 for $1 the dollar store, but I would like a pair of those cutters.
Only $8. I've spent $10 more frivolously. Of course, it's probably $20 S&H.
