So apparently my incubator was at 101 F for the first 13 days of incubation and I freaked out because I know that they develop faster at higher heats. I locked them down that night expecting some early hatches yesterday and today but there’s no sign of hatching. Did I mess up this whole hatch? :(

Not necessarily. I'd leave them until the morning after the day they should have hatched, then candle them. If you hadn't calibrated your incubator, it might not have been off as much as you thought. I would just wait it out a bit more.

Your other post for background for anyone. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/help.1677528/#post-28845536

Thanks! I candled this morning, ( my humidifier made the humidity in my closet the same as the bator to limit the risk) and there wasn’t internal pipping but there was some shadowing in the air sac and it looked like it was pushing at it so I’m hopeful that in the next day they’ll hatch. I’ll candle one more time tonight and hopefully they’ll be at least internally pipped.

Are these Coturnix quail eggs or some other species?
