Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! nothing even the kids have lost interest I'm checking them ever 15 minute I try leaving it longer lol but I don't want to miss a thing .

How do you do this all the time I'm more stressed than I am at work and I kinda wished I got some corurnix eggs as well.

It is stressful, this hatching process. Especially in an incubator. I hate to tell you this, but chicks can take up to 24 hours to hatch from start to finish, so you'll have to find something to distract you, or you'll drive yourself crazy.

Where did you get the eggs from? If you ordered them and they were sent via the post office you can expect a very low hatch rate.

I'm at the stage of crazy and drinking coffee is making me worse lol my second clutch are due tomorrow there in my second incubator I made its much better than the first one its made from a fish cooler and everything is perfect humid and temp the first batch are in a plastic fish tank converted into an incubator the temp is a bit up and down only a degree or 2 but humid is fine the first 1s are on day 18 how long do you wait till you disregard the eggs of ever hatching.

Oh sorry, I got my eggs off ebay the first load where well wrapped and got to me within 2days the second not so good 1 egg was broke so I have 23 all together I was in when they came so they didn't get dropped through the letter box.

I wait until at least 3 days after the last chick hatched, before I toss the remaining eggs. Like I said before, sometimes chicks hatch a day or 5 late, for some reason. Just to drive us crazy.

I'm going round a mate for a drink lol might take my mind off it or drive my mates mad talking about them.

haa ha Im right with ya!!! out of 22eggs I candled them this morning and am down to 13.. Two have hatched and are dry, one more has pipped out and two have pipped internally and I can see them breathing inside the egg. The others I cant see any movement in. I had issues with low temp the end of last week.. Grrr they were doing so good before that . I didn't need 22 more chicks but hate to see them not make it.
