Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

Hi running rabbit I went with texan Quails in the end still waiting on the second batch to hatch yet good luck on ur button quails I tried them a few time with no luck

I've still got 3 eggs which have not hatch I'm not sure about them what so ever everything looks good but there is no movement inside what should I do leave them or bin them??

I just bit the bullet and broke them open they must of died about 5 days ago still had quite large yoke sacks never mind four better than none there feathers are coming thru already

Sorry about your quails. Six of my buttons have hatched. I have six more eggs left in my incubator, with three of them peeping, and the other three silent. I honestly didn't think any would hatch with all the problems I had with my homemade incubator.

congrats on ur buttons I had lots of down falls on my incubator when I first built it this was my 5 attempt my 4 lil quails are funny lil chaps

Hi peeps my quails I doing great they look a bit like hedgehogs at the mo with there feathers coming thru I'm hoping and I know its wishful thinking on one cock and 3 hens I'll put any money getting 2 cocks lol

Yep.. and if your like me they will all be cocks... I have four more Roos to get rid of from the last batch that hatched.

lol I hope not the kids are quite attached already these quails seemed to grow as you watch them.

Ha haa yep they do.. them take forever till they start to lay eggs...

Hi Quails are doing fine do they always poo this much?? they never seem to go more then 1 min lol
