Quail eggs for those with chicken egg allergies?

Hello,
My husband is mildly allergic to eggs. He he gets stomach ache when he eats quite a few by them selves. We are hoping quail eggs won't do that. Does anyone have experience like this or know someone that uses quail eggs as a substitute for chicken eggs? He is also allergic to gluten, milk, spelt, and beef so we are hoping to find a feed without corn or gluten in it since I've read that he may be allergic to the eggs because of what they are eating. Our dog is allergic to corn, I'm allergic to shellfish and our son (and future children) probably has a mixture of all of the above. He is two so he may grow out of them. We are trying to make our lives easier by raising our own quail for meat and eggs but I was wondering how this has worked for others.

I am allergic to chicken eggs too.. once my chicks start laying and I am able to eat quail eggs daily then I will let you know if it helped my overall allergies. Please, let me know if your husband improves after eating quail eggs for a while.

That would be great! We won't get our chicks for 2 more weeks then it will be another 5 weeks until they start laying. I really hope it improves his allergies but while we wait to see we were hoping others could chime in with their experience.

Well the internet is full of "science" claiming that they're wonderful for allergies, but of course that's mostly on quail egg suppliers websites. I read on one that they're anti-inflammatory, and I have skin problems so ones our hens start laying (should be any day) I'll let you know if it has an effect on that. My boyfriend is also allergic to chicken eggs in a similar way, and I love to experiment on him, but I don't think he'll even touch one haha. Let us know if you get any nice results

Considering this thread is almost two years old you would be better starring a new one.

Interesting to read. Eggs seem to give most people gas especially hard boiled. But I've never known anyone that said they were allergic to them.

My son was allergic to milk when he was younger. Actually looked like a bad cold. It took a long time to figure it out. He grow out of it tho. He is the only person I know that has been allergic to milk. I'm lactose intolerant I believe. I sure do get blotted & gassy from it.

I am allergic to milk as well. I get a crazy stuffy nose sinus congestion and sometimes if it happens for long enough ear infections as a result. Some Ice cream gives me the same symptoms as Lactose intolerance.
