I am thinking about buying some quail eggs for meat and eggs. I have a Hovabator with an egg turner. Will I have to buy the quail racks or will the chicken egg racks work?

I'm not sure about the Hovabator turning but with the Little Giant turner the eggs fit into the chicken cups. Test and see if they fit in there

Thats what I did.

I Know Folks Who Will Triple Eggs Up--- Place 3 Quail Eggs Togather In 1 Chicken Egg Turner Cup. Personally I Like The Quail Cups Best--- They're Cheap, Easy Enough To Get, More Secure, And A Set Will Aloow You To Set 120 Eggs (20 Holes In Each Quail Strip) At Once, Or Use A Mix Of Them And Chicken Cups To Set A Mixed Batch Of Different Eggs. They Also Work Well For Partridge/chukar/button Quail/ Cockateal, Etc...

I had such a mix of eggs and did not want to break the buttons so for a bit my incubator looked like this:

I absolutely love those types for button eggs! I did some of mine the same way, they fit perfectly.

Coturnix eggs will fit just fine in the chicken egg turner, the only ones I've found that don't are buttons, they slip right through. This would be if you have the types with the solid piece with holes in it, as opposed to the ones with the spikes like farrier posted.
