without giving a long story... what would you sell "raw" quail eggs, for eating, for?

$2 / dozen? $3 / dozen? i don't want to cheat anyone; but, i don't want to just give them away either.

Quail eggs are a delicacy and can go as high as chicken eggs. Around here, the Mexican restaurants will pay from $5 to $6 a dozen. My feed store will also sell my eggs for the same price, although I don't get as much for the eggs when I sell to a business. So I would say anywhere between $3 to $6 is a fair price.

Around here they sell for 3.00 to 4.00 per dozen for hatchong eggs and 1.50 for eating.

It's the opposite here, lol. $1 doz for hatching and about $3 for eating. Maybe they figure they spend money on containers and refrigeration. I have seen them go at the local livestock auction for as much as $10/doz., don't know what the intended use for the auctioned ones were.
