Quail Eggs...

Discussion in 'Quail' started by lowcountrypoultry, Aug 1, 2008.

  1. From Lake Cumberland Game Farm any good?

I'm thinking about getting Coturnix to mix with ones i'm getting from a breeder.

Should I order over the phone or online?

Lake Cumberland has great birds! It is exspensive but I would say probably worth it...great fertility...though I havent had any personal expirences I have seen others who have gotten eggs from them.
And your eggs are ready to be shipped out monday!
  4. Yeah I did a search and it seems they are pretty good.

I decided to not order quail eggs, and if i order quail eggs to order them through a personal breeder.
  5. I couldn't resist myself!

I ordered 50 of them. This will be good so the eggs I get from them and the eggs I get from Sam will be unrelated.

Will let everyone know how the eggs show up , cracks, etc.

And hopefully in a few weeks I can tell ya'll about fertility.

Yes they are a good place to buy from.
I've bought eggs through them a couple of years ago and always had good hatches with there eggs at least 80 to 85% hatch rates on there shipped eggs, when we purchased through them they always shipped using ups and not the usps, they may be a bit pricey, but you will get a great hatch rate with there eggs and they have good customer service reps. They also add plenty of extras to..one thing with them is they can do very large egg orders.
