How to identify a quail egg

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

What do you mean...by color? Most of the New World quail like Bobwhites, Gambels and California's will lay white eggs, the Japanese Coturnix will lay a brown spotted egg and I think Button Quail also lay a spotted brownish egg.

Yeah a lot of them are brown spotted and medium sized
