I'm so glad to hear that he came home safely. He is one lucky bird!

Is there anything I should do...he escaped and ran into our chicken pen...should I seperate him? put him on electrolytes?

Put him back in with his buddies. He probably just wants to be home.

I had a bird get out without my knowing once, and found her trying to get back into the pen with her mates.
