I went to my quail coop today and one of my quail Lucy is falling over. Yesterday it looked like a small wing injury she was walking fine. Today she can’t walk, and she’s falling over. What could it be ? Some illness ? An injury. I don’t see any blood or anything swollen, the right wing is a little higher the the left. She’s the one that was supposed to live out her days (I don’t name the quail I process) that’s why we named her and got attached. Is there anything that will help or will I have to end her suffering?

Can you get a video of her? That would help tremendously in determining what might be the issue.

One of my quail did the same thing, I thought she hurt her wing then the next day she could barley stand. About 6ish hours after she started falling over she passed away… I’m not sure if there’s much you can do about it but I hope you find a solution.

I’m sad to say but this morning I had to end Lucy’s suffering. She was still falling over and barley moving and I didn’t want her to keep suffering. 😭
RIP Lucy
I Love You ❤️
