Quail feed Barley?

Here's a link for nutrional requirements for coturnix(Japanese) quail. No matter what you do, watch your birds carefully for any change in behavior. Many issues that arise are from some sort of nutritional deficiency and can be righted without harm if caught quickly.

How do they make game bird crumble and whats in it.

well I had a whole bin full of game bird crumble and chicken feed and I want to up the protein i dont want to waste the stuff in the bin so yeah.

How many quail do you have? And what breed?

Well none i used to raise them and then I had to do a cull but I had a hole mix of chicken layer mash and game bird crumble for them and they are coturnix the ones im thinking of raising.

You can feel them a mix, but give them a scrambled egg every other day for 10-20 chicks. If you see any, and I mean any, sign of lethargy give them another scrambled egg.

Scrambled in pan or boiled

Scrambled is just faster. But boiled should be fine too.
