Quail fight injury

Male quail fight left injury. Right side of back od head is scabbed but left side has a swollen spot the size of a blueberry. Afraid the swollen spot could be infection or putting pressure on a nerve. Bird did not eat much today. It flipped upside down in dish ...u I pdate ..it died
