Quail going nite-nite

I have a spare security cam (no sound) I've been using to observe my quail. I was curious to see if they go in their coop at night on their own. It's fun to watch: they play and run around, then the lights go off. They stop whatever they were doing and all head in their coop to settle in for the night. Funny.

Haha! Sometimes. They prefer an empty toilet paper or paper towel roll.

If you have an old smart phone, you can download Alfred on it and use it as a nanny cam. I just happened to have a security cam from Comcast, they gave me free because they screwed up so much. Lol. But you can get something really cheap.
