quail hatch today!

YAY!!! I will be posting pics later tonight/tomorrow as soon as still pics can do these guys justice!!

My quail are hatching!! YAY!!

Unfortunately, I also "hatched" my first bad egg...it exploded! Blech! BUT there is a LOT of rockin and rollin going on in my hatcher...and it was supposed to be two days ago! I was about to throw the batch out!! yippeeeee!

Congratulations! What kind of Quail are they??? My MIL just hatched out 10 little button quail from a BYCer for me, they are adorable!! I am keeping them in a brooder now.

still just rocking...kinda hard to get a still shot of that...

They are coturnix quail...grrr...start pipping already!!!


pippin and peepin...and a FREEZE is supposed to go on tonight!! My entire home is not very good in the cold...things tend to go wrong...like the electricity...I'm praying for a GOOD cold snap that does not interfere with my hatch!

rocking now for over 12 hours...no pip, no sounds, nothin but rocking.
